The color run

Over the weekend my cousin and some friends did a 5k race called The Color Run. After seeing the pictures I decided that I’m so doing this as part of my DZP goals list. I will probably continue to do this even after I complete my dzp goal because it just looks fun! I can’t believe I haven’t heard of this before! Instagram photo challenge

So I’m doing this November photo challenge on instagram and I’m really gonna try to get through it! Lol. I tried doing October but that didn’t work out. So here it goes.. Follow me on instagram! @Beenunez25

Grey’s Anatomy

Ok so my new obsession has been Grey’s Anatomy. That show is so addicting, it’s ridiculous. I admit I started watching because I found out there was a lesbian couple on Even though that didn’t come till the later seasons, I started from season 1. Best show ever! I can’t believe I’m saying this but it beats my all time favorite, Friends. Grey’s had moved to my #1 favorite show.

Etiwanda Falls

Added another hike to my list! woohoo! Hit up Etiwanda Falls in Rancho Cucamonga this past weekend and the weekend before with my best friend and her sister. I was dying both times on the way up, more the second time since we got hit with a heat wave (not good). Once I got to the top I forgot about the hike up. The creek and waterfall made me forget everything. It is so beautiful up there. If you are in the area I suggest you take the hike up to the waterfalls, you wont regret it. A lot of the hike is somewhat steep so be careful.

Bike mission to the beach

GOAL 11: Well another thing crossed off my DayZero Project list! I took a 20 mile ride to the beach from my bestfriend’s place. Had some difficulties on the way there but I’m happy to say I actually made it, to the beach and back home.

Happy Mother’s Day

Happy Mother’s Day to all the wonderful mothers out there, but especially to my mommy! I have seen my momma go through her share of trials and tribulations and through it all she has always come out with her head held high. One of the strongest women I know just like her mom, my yaya, may she rest in piece. It is said that daughters are always a spitting image of their mommas. And in these two cases it is most definitely true. My mom is just like her mom, in every way possible. Strength, hard workers, great sense of humor, kind, sweet, and their love for their children. I am happy and proud to say I have gotten all that from my mom as well. I don’t have children yet but I treat all my lil cousins as if they were. So thanks to my mom and my grandmother for passing everything they are/were to me! I LOVE YOU!

Thank you Mr. President

Yesterday I read that our President Obama is fully behind gay marriages. All I can say is Thank you and its about time!

“For me personally, it is important for me to go ahead and affirm that I think same-sex couples should be able to get married,” the president told ABC News in an interview

Dear Yaya <3

Haven’t blogged in a few weeks. My family and I have been going through tough times. A week ago today Heaven got a new angel. My grandma got her angel wings. I lost one of the people that meant most to me. Its still hard to accept that she’s gone but knowing that she is no longer suffering and in pain helps me out. I will hold her close at heart forever till we meet again in Heaven.
Here’s my letter to my grandma…

Dear Yaya,
A week ago today you got your wings and took your trip to heaven. A place where you are free from pain and suffering. I want to thank you for everything you have given me, taught me, and showed me. I’m not gonna lie, its gonna be hard to accept that you’re gone but if I have even half the strength you did I will. And knowing that you are finally okay will help as well. I am glad to have had you in my 23 years of existence. And I am happy that I got to spend the last days and hours you had with you. I didn’t want those days to end. You couldn’t really speak but just knowing that you were there meant the world.
I held your hand as you took your last breath. I admit I didn’t wanna let you go. But I knew I had to. I couldn’t be selfish and keep you here while you were in so much pain. Plus there were a lot of people waiting for you up there. Analyssa didn’t get the chance to enjoy time with her grandma like I did. So now it was her turn. Tio Valo was up there too. We couldn’t tell you when he took his trip to heaven in fear of losing you but I know it was a good surprise for you to see him again when you got up there. Yayo has been waiting 11 years for you. Probably waiting to go fishing, take Ana. I know she will love it. And your parents have their first daughter back. I know you’re happy to have your parents back, like my mom will when she gets up there. But make sure she doesn’t leave anytime soon. I still need her and I promised her a grandbaby so she has to be here for that. Anywho, te quiero Yaya. I miss you and always will. If you can, keep giving me lil signs here and there. I like that. It let’s me know you’re still around. Until we meet again… I love you.
Rest In Paradise
Tu niña bonita Bianca ❤
